Most SMM panel businesses assume SEO only works for global traffic. They skip the local market and jump straight into competing with established international players. GrowFollows took a different route. They started with Bangladesh, built a strong local presence, and then expanded globally once the foundation was solid. The result was a move from zero organic traffic in April 2022 to 3,200 monthly visitors by December 2025, with 75,100 clicks in the last six months and 1,100 ranking keywords, all organic.
GrowFollows, led by CEO Ihsan Mahbub, is an SMM panel serving individuals, businesses, and resellers who need social media growth across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Spotify. When Ihsan reached out to us in early 2022, the platform had a functioning website but almost no organic search traffic. Most customers came from word of mouth, direct visits, and paid advertising.
The challenge
Before any work began, we needed a clear picture of where GrowFollows stood. In April 2022 the site had an authority score of 17, zero organic traffic, seven ranking keywords, 864 referring domains, and 7,300 backlinks. The domain had some authority already, but nothing was ranking. We identified five problems holding the site back.
- No local SEO strategy. The site was not optimized for Bangladesh users. No Bengali content, no location-based keywords, no local trust signals.
- Generic service pages. The pages looked like every other SMM panel: short descriptions, no unique value, no keyword optimization.
- No content marketing. Zero blog posts, guides, or educational content, so all informational search traffic was being missed.
- Weak technical foundation. Slow page speed, incomplete mobile optimization, and almost no internal linking were quietly hurting rankings.
- No clear target audience. The messaging tried to speak to resellers, businesses, and individuals at once, so Google could not tell who the site was for.
Our strategy
We broke the project into two phases: local Bangladesh SEO first, then global expansion. This is the same AI SEO approach we use to build durable organic visibility for competitive SMM panel sites.
Phase 1: Local Bangladesh SEO (May 2022 to December 2023)
- Keyword research for local intent. We targeted terms like "SMM panel Bangladesh", "cheap SMM panel BD", and "Instagram followers Bangladesh". These had lower competition and higher conversion rates for local customers.
- Rewritten service pages. We added Bengali sections where appropriate, mentioned local payment methods like bKash, Nagad, and Rocket, and highlighted Bengali customer support.
- Educational content. A new blog targeted queries such as "How to grow Instagram followers in Bangladesh" and "Best SMM panel for Bangladeshi businesses".
- Technical SEO. We compressed images, cleaned up code, set up proper internal linking, and confirmed the site was mobile-friendly, which matters where 98% of internet users are on smartphones. Our technical SEO work gave the content a stable base to rank from.
- Local link building. We earned mentions on Bangladesh business directories, local tech blogs, and industry forums to establish trust.
By the end of 2023, GrowFollows ranked on page one for multiple Bangladesh SMM panel keywords, and a solid site structure made that local dominance easy to scale.
Phase 2: Global expansion (January 2024 to December 2025)
- International keywords. We targeted terms like "best SMM panel", "cheap Instagram followers", and "YouTube views SMM panel" with global intent.
- Broader content. The blog expanded to SMM panel SEO strategies, social media marketing trends, platform algorithm updates, and industry guides.
- Wider service pages. We optimized pages for users in India, Pakistan, the UK, and the US, highlighting fast delivery, 24/7 support, and multiple payment options including cryptocurrency.
- Algorithm monitoring and voice search. We reviewed the site after each major Google update and, in 2025, structured content to answer questions naturally for voice queries. This also feeds AI visibility, the same principle behind getting cited in AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
The results
Google Search Console data for the last six months shows the scale of the growth.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Total clicks | 75,100 |
| Total impressions | 1,290,000 |
| Average CTR | 5.8% |
| Average position | 22.8 |
That is roughly 12,500 organic clicks per month with zero ad spend. A 5.8% CTR is solid for an SMM panel in a crowded space, and the average position of 22.8 shows there is still room to climb.
The Semrush domain overview from April 2022 to December 2025 tells the longer story.
| Metric | April 2022 | December 2025 |
|---|---|---|
| Organic traffic | 0/month | 3,200/month |
| Organic keywords | 7 | 1,100 |
| Authority score | 17 | 17 |
| Referring domains | 864 | 864 |
| AI visibility | — | 22 |
Organic keywords jumped from 7 to 1,100, a 15,600% increase. The authority score stayed at 17, which shows the growth came from on-page optimization and content rather than aggressive link building. An AI visibility score of 22 confirms GrowFollows is now surfacing in AI-powered search tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
Key takeaways
Three things made the difference. The local-first strategy gave GrowFollows a strong foundation before it competed globally. Content brought the traffic, with every post opening new keyword opportunities. And technical SEO created the stability that let everything else rank. Our AI SEO and GEO process is built on exactly this sequence: fix the foundation, publish helpful content, target the right keywords, and stay consistent for at least 12 months.
