When Dhaka Apparels approached us in September 2025, they had zero online visibility despite being a quality garment supplier in Bangladesh's competitive apparel industry. Three months later, they were ranking #1 for their primary keyword "best stock garments supplier in bd" on both Google and AI search engines. Here is exactly how our AI SEO team did it.
The challenge
Dhaka Apparels needed more than just a website. They needed a complete digital presence that could compete with established players in Bangladesh's massive garment export industry.
When we ran our first review, the situation was stark:
- No website or online presence
- Zero organic traffic
- No search engine visibility
- Missing out on B2B buyers searching online
- Competitors dominating search results
The client goal was clear: rank for commercial keywords and attract wholesale buyers, retailers, and international garment buyers within 90 days.
Our strategy
We worked in five phases across the 90-day campaign, layering a technical foundation, e-commerce on-page work, local signals, and AI search optimisation on top of each other.
Phase 1: Website foundation
The site needed to be fast, mobile-friendly, and optimised for both users and search engines. Our website development work focused on:
- A clean, professional layout showcasing their garment inventory
- Site structure built for easy navigation and clear internal linking
- Mobile-first design, critical since 98% of Bangladeshi users browse via smartphone
- Fast loading speed, kept under two seconds
- Clear contact information and business details
The key was understanding buyer intent. When someone searches for "stock garments supplier," they want inventory variety, pricing transparency, and quick contact options.
Phase 2: E-commerce content and on-page
Content was not just about keywords. We focused on answering the real questions garment buyers ask, and we built product-focused pages around them:
- Detailed service pages explaining their wholesale process
- Product category pages with clear, scannable descriptions
- An About page that establishes credibility and trust
- A contact page with multiple communication options
- Blog content addressing common buyer concerns
Every page was written for humans first, with natural keyword placement and simple language for both local and international buyers.
Phase 3: Technical SEO
Technical optimisation made the site search-engine friendly from day one. Our technical SEO checklist covered optimised meta titles and descriptions, a proper H1-H2-H3 header hierarchy, schema markup for business information, an XML sitemap submitted to Google Search Console, a correct robots.txt, optimised image alt text, fixed broken links and redirects, and HTTPS security.
Phase 4: AI search and GEO optimisation
We optimised for Answer Engine Optimization to capture AI search traffic. That meant structuring content to answer specific questions clearly and concisely, adding structured data, and writing in natural, conversational language, the same AI SEO approach we detail in our guide to generative engine optimization. To earn AI citations, we followed the same principles we cover in how to get cited in Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
Phase 5: Local SEO and authority building
For a Bangladesh-based business, local visibility was critical. We created and optimised a Google Business Profile, added accurate NAP details, included location-specific keywords, and optimised for "near me" searches. We then built authority through relevant Bangladesh business directories, B2B platform profiles, and garment-industry citations, always favouring quality over quantity for backlinks.
The results
The numbers speak for themselves. After the first three months, Google Search Console showed steady, compounding growth:
| Metric | Result after 3 months |
|---|---|
| Total organic clicks | 195 |
| Google impressions | 14,700 |
| Average position (all keywords) | #7 |
| Primary keyword ranking | #1 for "best stock garments supplier in bd" |
| Average CTR | 1.3% |
The click curve climbed month over month: 15 to 20 clicks in month one, 45 to 60 in month two, and 120+ by month three. Most importantly, the site achieved featured status in Google's AI Overview for its main keyword, appearing above traditional organic results, and ranked in ChatGPT.
The rankings did not just hold, they compounded. GA4 data for May 1 to 31, 2026 tells the story:
- 961 total sessions in a single month
- 752 sessions from organic search, 78.25% of all traffic
- 415 engaged organic sessions at a 55.19% engagement rate
- 3,856 organic search events, 80.22% of all site events
That is more than 6x the roughly 120 sessions the site generated at the end of the initial 90-day campaign. Direct traffic grew alongside it to 162 sessions (16.86%), a sign that people are now searching for Dhaka Apparels by name.
Key takeaways
If you are in the garment or apparel industry in Bangladesh, this campaign points to a few clear lessons:
- Online presence is non-negotiable. B2B buyers search before they contact. Without visibility, you are invisible.
- Technical foundation matters. A beautiful website means nothing if it is slow, hard to navigate, or not mobile-friendly. An SEO-friendly website structure is the base everything else sits on.
- Local SEO drives local business. For Bangladesh-based companies, optimising for local searches brings qualified leads.
- Content should educate and convert. Write for your buyers, answer their questions, and make it easy to get in touch.
- AI optimisation is now core SEO. Clear, structured answers are what earn citations in AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
Dhaka Apparels did not reach #1 by accident. It took in-depth keyword research, strategic content, technical expertise, and a real understanding of Bangladesh's digital landscape. If you want results like these, request a free SEO audit and we will map out a strategy for your industry and goals.
