AMAR Home is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Uttara, Dhaka that has operated since 2012. It has treated 1,154 patients, holds a DNC (Department of Narcotics Control) license from the Government of Bangladesh, carries an ISO 9001:2015 certification, and works with practicing psychiatrists from BSMMU and NIMH. By any clinical measure it is one of the most credible rehab centers in Bangladesh, with a 55% measured sobriety rate at two-year follow-up. Yet in December 2025 it was invisible online, because it had no website at all. This is how our AI SEO and GEO work took AMAR Home from nothing to the top recommendation across the three most-used AI platforms in six months.
The challenge
When AMAR Home approached Khan IT, families searching for addiction treatment in Dhaka could not find them. Competitors with weaker clinical credentials and shorter track records were ranking on page one. There was no website to rank, no domain authority, no Search Console data, no backlinks, and no content. The task was not to improve existing SEO; it was to build everything from nothing and get it ranking fast.
Rehabilitation falls under Google's YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) category, so content is held to a much higher standard. Thin pages or weak author credentials get filtered out quickly. At the same time, AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude are increasingly where people ask sensitive questions such as "what is the best rehab center in Dhaka." Those platforms do not just read rankings; they look at structured information, entity clarity, verified credentials, and content depth. We needed to win both traditional search and AI search from day one, on a brand new domain.
Our strategy
Our approach was built on four pillars: entity establishment, EEAT-led content architecture, GEO, and local SEO precision.
Build the entity before the rankings
The first question any AI system asks about a business is whether the entity exists and can be verified. Before writing a single blog post, we made AMAR Home a clearly defined, verifiable entity across the web.
- Built a complete Google Business Profile with accurate NAP, the right primary category, real facility photos, and the correct website URL from day one.
- Ran consistent citation building across directories.
- Put the DNC license number, ISO certification body, BMDC-registered doctor credentials, and physical address into machine-readable formats on the site.
EEAT-led content architecture
We built the site on WordPress around one principle: every claim must be verifiable. Every doctor has their own profile page with a listed BMDC registration number. The ISO certification issuing body is named, the DNC license is referenced with specifics, and patient outcome data (55% sobriety rate at two-year follow-up, 1,154 patients treated since 2012) is stated with methodology context rather than as a marketing headline. We then built a full topical cluster covering yaba treatment, alcohol rehabilitation, heroin dependency, prescription sedative dependency, and location pages for Mirpur, Gulshan, Dhanmondi, Savar, and Uttara.
Answer-first content and GEO
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is about structuring content so AI platforms can extract confident, citable answers. AI systems prioritize sources that are clear, structured, specific, and verifiable. For AMAR Home that meant:
- Every key fact stated in a complete, self-contained sentence an AI can cite directly.
- FAQ sections written as direct question-and-answer pairs, not flowing prose.
- Doctor credentials structured consistently with name, degree, institutional affiliation, and BMDC number.
- Key numbers repeated in multiple formats so they can be pulled from different entry points.
We paired this with schema markup and structured data for LocalBusiness, MedicalOrganization, FAQPage, Person (for each doctor), and BreadcrumbList. If you want the deeper mechanics, see our guides on what GEO is and how to get cited in AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
Local SEO precision
AMAR Home's Uttara location matters for local pack rankings. We optimized the Google Business Profile for the primary category, built supporting location pages for surrounding areas, and enforced NAP consistency across every citation and directory. The GBP now appears in Gemini's map results alongside the AI recommendation, creating two touchpoints from a single search.
The results
Within six months, a brand new domain in a YMYL healthcare niche achieved simultaneous top-position recommendations across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, plus seven Google page-one keywords.
| Keyword | Google position |
|---|---|
| best rehab center in bangladesh | 3–7 |
| best rehab center in dhaka | 2–6 |
| best rehab center in uttara | 1–5 |
| rehabilitation center dhaka | 3–7 |
| rehab center uttara | 1–4 |
| drug addiction treatment center in dhaka | 2–6 |
| best rehabilitation center in dhaka | 2–7 |
- Gemini: AMAR Home is the first result for "best rehab center in Dhaka," with its GBP card displayed alongside the recommendation.
- Claude: ranked #1 for the same query, cited first with its Uttara location and program details.
- ChatGPT: the top recommendation with a direct source link to amarhome.com.bd, appearing above longer-established competitors.
- Google Search Console (May 17–June 12, 2026): 272 clicks and 15,500+ impressions in 28 days, 1.7% average CTR, and an average position of 6.2 across all ranking keywords.
The site started at zero clicks, zero impressions, and zero indexed pages in December 2025. As rankings consolidate toward positions one to three, click volume will grow without additional content or link building.
Key takeaways
- AI platforms do not rank websites; they recommend entities. Structured data, verified credentials, consistent NAP, and direct-answer content tell AI systems exactly what a business is and why to recommend it.
- GEO cannot manufacture trust. AMAR Home had genuine credibility, real operational history, and verifiable outcomes; our job was to make those signals legible to AI systems.
- The signals overlap. The same content architecture that produced AI visibility also satisfied Google's EEAT requirements and drove page-one rankings.
- Building for AI visibility from day one beats retrofitting it later, and AI recommendations can appear before a site reaches position one in traditional Google results.
If your business has real credibility but no AI visibility, that is a solvable problem. Our AI SEO and GEO service builds the entity signals AI platforms need to cite and recommend you. Request a free SEO audit and we will show you where to start.
